I would have to say Barney, because he is so witty and clumsy. I think it so humorous when he has to find his bullet to put in the gun after he encounters a suspect.

My dad liked the show and watched all the reruns. I can tell you I did not like Barney Fife (Don Knots)...I do not like that the kind of humor....
I did like the town Mayberry the small town were a young boy could ride his bike around town and without cell phones the town was in touch with the people in the town...It was a safe town ...My favorite was the Mayberry the town

Hhahahahaa Good question. I liked Floyd the Barber and can do a pretty darn good impersonation of his voice and actions too, complete with the stammering.
