Hey guys:
I am on a quest or rediscovery. I spent two weeks away and smoked and drank and partied and meditated on life.
Tell me about any discoveries youve had recently and how you are re-building your life!

Well, I'm not sitting around getting wasted watching life pass me by in a haze. I'm actually living my life to the fullest and enjoying every moment it has to offer.
Everyone has or makes their own path in life. It is your choice how to re-build it or tear it down. I was always one who made goals and reached them. I think I discovered who I was a long time ago as a young child. I've been told I am an "old soul."
Not to say that I haven't gotten lost here and there because everyone does. The most important thing I have learned thus far in my life is that "You are only a failure if you don't learn from your mistakes."
We all make mistakes, we all take wrong turns but it is the effort made to correct the mistakes and getting back on track that makes us stronger and wiser.
You won't find all the answers in the bottom of a Vodka bottle or by killing all your brains cells by smoking weed. I am glad you are on a quest and I hope that you find what you are looking for, but please start taking care of yourself so you can stay on your path of discovery.
Good Luck

No it's not normal, and of course you don't drink that much, so why ask such a ridiculous question? You are an alcoholic, looking for some answers. The only way is get to the doctor, and get some solutions. I am the same way as you, and scared to go to the doctors.

If I had the time, I'd spend some with Mr. Brownstone.

Well, good for you! Now crawl back out of the pit and go get yourself a real life. If you are the future of our society--then I'm scared.

I'm sure you learned a whole lot about the real world getting drunk and high. Another great addition to society.
