The ocean is full of "components". It is a huge buffer for CO2, a lot of free floating decaying and dead organic material, as well as organic sediments at the bottom. Are you talking chemical components or what? Be a little more specific.

Well other than the basic components of water, hydrogen and oxygen, the ocean is full of everything else that dissolves in water. You name it and it's there.

magnesium, calcium, potassium, carbon, water maybe some little bits of gold and iron and a whole lot of other stuff (I love the ocean!).
