I learned when I was 7...I was talking to a friend and she suddenly told me about it..think she figured it out cuz "Santa' always used the same wrapping paper as her parents lol

When I was 9 my parents were separating. My mom was so devastated and out of it. She told me there was no Santa and that I had to do all the secret Christmas stuff for my little sister because she was to sad. That was the worst so I'm letting my kids believe until they are 30 if the want and I'll keep filling stockings.

Where I live(Sweden) Santa, "Tomten", comes on Christmass Eve, knocking on the door. My old man said he was going out to by a newspaper. A few minutes later there would be a knock on the door and a strange man with a big, (fake) beard entered with a lot of packages in a sack. I was about seven when I saw the connection.

I realized when I was 7 and noticed the presents from Santa had the same handwriting and wrapping paper as the rest.

I also found out when I was 8. I still believe in Santa.

I started making connections around 8, then I actually took a look at Santa's handwriting, it was uncannily akin to my mom's...the rest is growing up.

I learned when I was five 'cause I set up my digital video camera and found out it was my parents lol. I just faked believing until I was eight years old.
