I have a monitor that is bigger and nicer than my tv. is there a way i can do that?

If by "coaxial" you mean ariel/cable TV input lead, then YES, it's called the tuner of any VCR etc etc etc, but you need one with outputs to match the inputs on monitor.

If you mean a composite video cable, then YES also
A Scan converter to convert composite video to VGA signals.

NOT cheap however

Only if the monitor has the optional equipment to access TV signals. Most do not.

Basically, the monitor would have to have a tuner so that it can process the signal from the cable company.

there is a way but u have to get a cable cord to fix that
