My doc ordered another ultrasound immediately after i had one in the 20th week because she could not see certain things clearly. Is this normal?

I did and I found out I was having a boy :) Its about the time your doc sends you for one.

I only had one, but my sister-in-law had 2 at that point. Her little girl was moving all around, and the tech wasn't able to get all of the measurements and pictures that they needed, and they also weren't able to get a clear enough look to guess at a gender. They scheduled her for a second one a few days later, and at that one they got what they needed and determined that it was a girl.
It doesn't always happen, but it doesn't necesarily mean anything bad. If they scheduled the second one because they thought something might be wrong they would have told you. It'll all be just fine, and as an added bonus, you'll get to see your baby a bit more than expected!

i had one at 11 +5, one at 21 weeks, and 1 at 28, and 1 at 28+4, and 1 due on 20th december. But my pregnancy has been complicated, u normally get a 12 week and 20 week scan. Ive had a llot of complications xxx

Don't worry...it's normal. I just had my u/s at 20 weeks and I have to go back on 12/17 for another one. The tech told me that she was unable to get certain pics of my son because he was 1) moving around too much, 2) then he wouldn't move when she needed him too. She also told me to eat something sweet the 2nd time around so he'll have more energy.

My doctor gave me one at 17 or 18 weeks, and said she needs me back in a month because she couldn't see the spine as well as she would like.
I would worry but this happened before with one of my other pregnancies. It's all in the way the baby is laying. Try not to stress yourself out, and look on the bright side, you'll get to see your wonderfull little one again.
I'm sure you will be ok, it's just the way your little one is laying

I had my 20 week and some of the pictures were not clear enough for their liking, so I went back at 23 weeks to do another one. They got the pictures that time and everything was great.

I sure hope so because I have to do another one also. My doctor said she just didn't get a good enough look at the heart. I suppose better safe than sorry. Try not to worry just yet.

Not uncommon, but the doctor usually tells you why.
I did, but there was a chance I may have had placenta previa. Where the placenta covers the cervix. He wanted to see if when the baby turned head down she would move it out of the way....she did.

nope one the first visit one at 20 weeks and another at 24 so they could check on the organs they couldn't get good pics of at 20 weeks

No the reason they give you ultrasound back to back is because something might be wrong with u or the baby. But they keep constant watch on the baby to make sure baby stays healthy.
