I really believe that the report should be made available for all to see and read and come to their own conclusions on rather than the current scheme of
-Reporting on the report - Monday
-Reporting on the Presidents opinion of the report Tuesday
-Reporting on the UN's and other opinions (Iran) Wednesday
- Not reporting on the opinions of Russia and China the people able to veto in the UN sanction
Reporting the reporters views and opinions on the Politicans views of the report

All set up to play on the weekend over and over again like some sort of well thought out march to keep people from

READING the damm report themselves - no no the people will be asked which journalist which channel was more convincing about a report

In a nutshell, the greater issue is when was Bush made aware of this report. That is what is truly puzzling people due to his WW-3 rhetoric a month ago or so.

It is a rock and a hard place for Bush. He was told about the report several months ago. EITHER he is lying and did not ask for the details OR he is not lying and neglected to ask for details on a report concerning the greatest threat he claims the US faces.

No matter which is true, he loses credibility as someones word you should trust.

Here it is my friend: http://www.odni.gov/press_releases/20071203_release.pdf

I've read the report and casually glanced at Bush's and the UN's spin on it. The only inconsistency between Bush's rhetoric and the report is that Bush strongly suggests the program is ongoing, whereas the report indicates it has stopped since 2003. The rest of the contents are in agreement with his rhetoric.

This report deals a severe blow to any rationale that sanctions need to be imposed against Iran. Sanctions for what? If we knew they had a nuclear weapons program, I'd be all for sanctions but quite frankly if they don't have one than sanctions are really just bullying them.

Read the report itself.

There's plenty of reasons for sanctions in there.
