I have a dvd ram on my laptop, but I want to play sims 2 deluxe on my desktop computer. My desktop doesnt have the dvd rom. And my laptop doesnt have the dvd decoder. Can I play sims 2 deluxe on my desktop with out the dvd rom? And can I play it with a dvd decoder on my computer?

U cannot load it without a DVD drive, but IF you can copy the disc to a hard drive, it MIGHT install from that MIGHT !

As for a DVD Decoder, thet's used to watch films, not play games, so shouldn't be needed

No you cannot for either you need a DVD rom for that. Srry, try upgrading you computer.
