I applaud them if they have made their own fortune. Most likely they are philanthropists and people who create jobs which put food on the tables of the rest of us.

Nothing. They have worked to achieve and for that we should applaud them. Why punish success, we should not hold the wealthy in contempt but we should hold the poor in contempt, because they failed to achieve. Now we keep no score in kids soccer leagues, or baseball leagues. We give them all a medal for participation, which translates to apathy and no goal setting. What do you tell you kids soccer team after the other team has put 6 into the net and you have put none in the net... it's a tie... they no better and see that we no longer reward winning but ignore it.

I don't have any issues with people who went out and earned their fortune.

However, their (generally slacker) children shouldn't automatically deserve a life of luxury (Paris Hilton comes to mind). I would hope that those who earned their fortune would force their children to do the same, but alas, most don't.

I agree. Several of my friends from school are now worth millions. It's why I love and support our present system of government.

I wish I could find their phone numbers....

Next you are going to say that Republicans give 30% more to charity than Democrats.

Just because it's true doesn't mean you should say it.

You aren't supporting the socialist ideal espoused by Hillary.

I respect rich people who worked hard to attain it. I have little respect for those who did nothing for it.
