you have to call the social security office and they will send you papers to fill out but if you go to the social security office they can issue you a temp. card right there on the spot until your new one is finished.

Go to your local social security office. Bring at least three forms of ID . It's pretty easy . I did it a year ago and I think there was a small fee. Good luck !!!!
