Yes, I am usually reading one at home, and I keep one at the Gym to read while working out.

Yes, sometimes. I used to read about five books at a time until I discovered I wasn't really getting into the story and concentrating. I did this because I was in the middle of a books when at school they left us a book to read in English, one in Spanish, and the other in French. Also, because I wasn't very interested in one book, so I had another to read while I worked up the guts to keep going on the other one.

I usually have a fiction book and a non-fiction book going at the same time - occasionally a third book of humor if I find something worth reading. It's a mood thing - sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't.

I try to only read one at a time...I like to have my focus on that story and not worry about mixing up details. The only time when I have to do that is when I am in the middle of one book and one of the books I was on hold for at the library comes in and I have to read it so I can send it on to the next person in line.

Usually just one book at a time.

I only read one book at a time because I find it confusing to read two at a time. Facts are often mixed up and sometime you get really interested in one of them and leave the other to die. But I'm a bookworm all the way. Knowledge is power, let us all be a part of that.

i always read at least 3 books at a time. sometimes more. it depends on what i am in the mood to read that day. i always have a volume of short stories around and i usually read one at night before turning out the light. i re-read the classics alot. so, usually i am reading a current novel, something nonfiction, one of the classics, various magazine articles, short stories. and i usually have a smaller book in my purse for when i am on the train or in the doctor's office. my friends and family find this strange, but i have done it all my life.

I generally have 5 or 6 on the go because it depends on what mood I'm in as to what I want to read (does that sound right?). Occasionally I get them mixed up, but not very often! Oh-and I'm studying as well so I have to read for my course and I like to read for pleasure so that adds to the number too.
