Unfortunately, some things that you regret only come around once in life and you can't do them over again. I regret not spending more time with my parents as they were getting older. Having my own growing family, a job, and a household to run, I didn't get to travel and see them as often as I would have liked to. And suddenly, they're gone, and there's no turning back the hands of time.

Not joining the army at 17 because my family wouldn't allow me to. I've regretted it all my life and am now a Police Officer which is a poor substitute!

Getting married instead of going to college right after high school. Went back later and got several degrees but it probably would have been more fun to do it at a younger age.

Screwing up in college the first time.
Marrying my ex-husband
Not being more strict with my kids
Not talking more to my father
Not staying in shape
Not taking more chances

I could keep going all day. I have so many regrets.

I have many but it's too late to look back & dwell. To do so, depresses me, so I have learned from my mistakes, & have tryed to become a better person & not repeat those regrets ever again.

Remarrying after I was widowed; of course, I wouldn't send my sons back for the world, so I put the regret away and chalk it up to experience.
