You're very lucky! I am 23 weeks pregnant and have gained 30 pounds already >< I have a huge belly but the weight is also in my breasts (went up 2 cups) and my thighs and butt YIKES! but as for how much weight you are SUPOSED to gain--every women is different you are supoed to gain weight during pregnancy as long as it is steady and not because you are eating a lot of junk...you want the baby to get nutrients. I belive doctors say a healthy weight gain is between 25-35 pounds, but don't worry too much if you are slightly over or under you were slender to begin with (115) so you may just have had to gain the extra pounds for baby's sake!
Congrats and good luck with delivery :)

I gained 80 lbs (ughhh). Within 3 - 4 weeks of having my baby, I had lost 25 lbs. It's now been 13 weeks and I've lost 45 lbs so far. Only 35 lbs more to get off! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!

Ask your doctor, but this doesn't seem like too much to me.
I gained 32 pounds with my first (she was 7 1/2 lbs).
I was sick my entire second pregnancy and only put on 15 lbs. (He was 9lbs 3oz!). Since I couldn't keep food down well, I made sure to eat very nutritiously. I was overweight so the baby could live off the fat of the land too!
Note to others: You need more than the weight of the baby! The placenta, extra blood and fluids in your system all contribute to the gain. I gained 15 lbs, had a 9lb baby and came home ten lbs less than when I got pregnant. I DO NOT recommend doing this (I was sick) but it illustrates this.

You're supposed to gain 20-35 if you're average weight for your height. I gained 50 with my first pregnancy, but it was mostly water at the end, and I lost the whole 50 lbs within 9 months (they say 9 months on, 9 months off if it's healthy weight) so it's not too bad. The doctors didn't even pressure me about it, they just weighed me at each visit and I watched the scale go up and up!

The recommendation when I was pregnant was 25-35 lbs. I gained 50 something but I was back to pre-pregnancy weight within two weeks of birth.
My desk job has ruined my body far more than any pregnancy. Try to avoid those like the plague.

25-35 lbs is the norm for "average-sized" women. I gained 45 lbs with number 1, 16 lbs with number 2 (I was really sick the whole time), and 35 lbs with number 3. It sounds like you're right on track. Good luck!

Well I gained 6 pounds. I started at 175 and the day I had her I was 181. Two days after I had her I was at 153. It was the best. I had really bad morning sickness so I couldnt eat much. I kept losing weight. The only thing that really stayed down was fruits. So I drank 2 gallons a water a day and had like 8 oranges a container of grapes, mangoes, strawberries. You name it I had it by the bulks every day.
