They have in the past so I see no reason to bar them in the future. Anyone garnering a certain percentage in the polls should be allowed to be heard. Those with one or two percent aren't going to make any real difference any way so it is a waste of air time for them to participate but someone who has around 5% or more, why not. Ralph Nader did and so did Ross Perot. John Anderson did too and they brough up some very good points. They also went after the other two equally. Let's hope by the time of the general election we can have REAL debates and not these silly Q and A sessions we have seen to date. They are that way so the media can get a sound bite or two and report on a gotcha by the commentator or one of the participants.

I would like to know what the person stands for before making a decision. I know there was a group of Evangelicals discussing entering a 3rd party candidate if Rudy got in as a Republican candidate. To be continued.

The two major parties would not let that happen. A third party candidate has nothing to loose and would raise questions that the major parties do not want to discuss.
America is controlled by the two major parties which are controlled by the highest bidder. Americans need to wake up and vote their conscience, not hold their nose and vote for who they think will win.

Depends on the level of support they had. Ross Perot did back in 1992.

Absolutely! Our government shouldn't be in the business of limiting debate to two political parties.
