No, on my questions and answers, the star and thumbs are greyed out, and a the little finger symbol does not appear. So no you can't.
Besides, if you ask a question, it will appear in the lists of all your contacts, so they can access it. No need to star your own question.

I would thumbs up my answers but I wouldn't star my own questions because people would be able to see that I gave myself a star but they wouldn't be able to see that I gave myself a thumbs up.

No. Even I think some of my questions are dumb. And my answers, while most of the time decent, can sometimes to be a little stupid...especially when I get bored of answering the same question over and over again. Good question though!
