all i need is a quick little answer it doesnt have to be a million pages long.

Today you mainly use flotation for copper ores as these are normally low grade ores with fine grain dessiminated copper in it.
You basically put your grinded ore in an oil basin and let the copper stick to air bubbles you pump through it.
