Dont do this if your newer puter is brand new and under warranty because opening the side panel will void its warranty. Open the left side panels on both computers and sit them next to each other with the open sides facing each other. Hopefully your IDE cable is long enough. Pull the IDE cable out of the newer rigs CD-Rom drive and take it and plug it into the old hard drive in the older machine and take a spare power connector from new puter and plug it into the old drive. Then plug just your new machine into the wall outlet and fire it up. You should see the old hard drive. then you can open it and yank everything you need off it. When done unplug your new rig and pull the IDE and power cable out of the old drive and plug the IDE cable back into the CD-Rom drive. I do this all the time to transfer stuff from a customers old to new puter and its takes less time than yanking the drive out.

This might be a little hard but if you follow directions you will e ok ;) (You need a rouer to do this)

1 Go to: http://www.rejetto.com/hfs/ and download
2 Open it up :)
3 Drag the files to the "tree" on the left side
4 Specify the port you want to use (on the top bar)
5 On your other computer go to the IP and port of the old computer (internal IP ex. 192.168.0.105:2585)
6 Download the files and you are good to go!

If you need more help send me a message :)
