if you are just attentive to her- i think her Christmas will be special. I love the idea of baking cookies or making her something- I made my boyfriend a "greatest hits" CD of his favorite band one year and he loved it- says it still his favorite CD (this was before we had i-pods of course).

I think that the most romantic thing to do is buy her a rose. there is no need for a dozen just one says the same thing! Take her out to dinner at a nicer restaurant or maybe do it yourself and set the table really nice. go rent movies and stay home and cuddle. there is no need to go spend a lot of money when you can do things that cost little to nothing and mean more to somebody than spending unbelievable amounts of $$

ok, seriously, the sweetest thing is if you bake her something, the fact you made the effort and the idea of how cute that is will warm her heart... bake cookies or something.
if you think that is silly you could surprise her with a picnic lunch even if you are in a cold region.... sometimes gifts from the heart and thought are more precious than money can buy.

Since you called it Christmas, I'll assume you're Christian. So why not take her to a Christmas Eve candlelight service at one of the local churches? Then plan to spend the rest of the evening - or Christmas Day with her family.

ok well depending on where you live you can take her on a site seeing flight. its $169 at the princeton airport (in nj) but if you live farther im sure you can look online for one nearby. if thats too much money you could try something smaller like a horse and carrage ride (in NY) or somewhere closer to you. good luck
