How sad is it when you watch your employers doing a group interview and lying about the company?

How sad is it when they are considering hiring the person because of the company the person came from but not the merits of the individual?

How sad is it when the group thinks the applicant is articulate when infact you heard the same responses and brought up inconsistancies in the statements?

I guess the crux of my question is....why bother to hold an interview if your mind is already made up and why pretend (about the company you work for, that you actually care about the person's credentials, that you ignore the inconsistancies....) ?

It appears that management wanted employee approval, for whatever reason, for the decision they had already decided upon.

The truth will come out eventually, so they're just kidding themselves by not being honest. They've already disillusioned you. In time they'll be found out by others in the company.

Stick to your morals and let them hang themselves. The only person you are responsible for is yourself. Yes, it's sad. Learn from their mistakes.
