The YA from Lilth is as correct as I can remember those episodes that Lady Heather appeared in. What was so very obvious was the sexual attraction between those two. The way Grissom and the Lady played off of each other almost melted the TV screen !!!! They weren't what I'd call a couple, they hooked up at least once, and they seemed to be close friends. There was "real" chemistry between those two......chemistry that Sara and Grissom never had.
Her job was that of a Madam who furnished very "special" types of services for people who were into S&M and other kinky needs. She was a dominatrix.

They met when Grissom was investigating a murder of someone connected to her "business". They ended up hooking up one night. Then, some of the evidence suggested she may be involved and she got mad he suspected her, so that was the end of that.
There have been a few more times they have seen each other and he has helped her out, but they didn't hook up again, but the sexual tension and affection between them was apparent.
