OK...so by the time Shrub leaves office, we are going to be 10 TRILLION dollars in debt.

Hillary has her "health care plan" and Lord knows how much THAT is going to cost us.

Where does she propose this money come from?

I am tapped out.

For the past three decades, USA have been printing money for the necessity of international oil sales, and since then lived on credit and piled up trade deficits after trade deficits. If you check the census bureau, you will see there is not even one year of positive trade. Basically, the US government pay its expenses by printing money that would hold no value without its use in international trades. Fortunately, the US have a strong ally in its interest of keeping the dollar as strong as possible, and that is China. Spending trillions into a war with no foreseen ending look unsafe to international community and that can cause a collapse of US economy. Investing the money of that war at home and helping US businesses to become more competitive while providing health care to all citizens, or at least to all working citizens and their child while not forgetting senior citizens who contributed in the past would make more sense then helping a few cartel leaders (gas cartels) and exploit US citizens.

Whatever what your political orientation, people should realize that all leaders since 1976 are guilty of weakness and overspending for political capital. A US citizen is now in debt of $350K at birth.

It is incredible to see what is the new US culture. Voting machines that are proved hackable are deploid in elections :Nothing happens, nobody seems to worry. Government extremely irresponsible in its spending: Again, nobody seems to care. Someone expressing its opinion and demanding changes in ways of government: People see it as Anti-American.

Why do US citizens today seems to excuse everything their leaders do, including corruption, in the name of political preferencies ? This is insane.

The tax cuts for the rich will be rolled back for one thing. Also, all the current governmental welfare programs for health, which is in the billions, will be able to be rolled into it because those programs will no longer be needed. The war debt is something else again. That's something that can only be addressed through a complete fiscal overhaul and this country will have to decide whether it's willing to let our grandchildren pay for this war, or whether we're going to pay for it ourselves.

Also, please understand that Sen. Clinton cannot be sworn in and just say the next day "Hey we all have UHC." A plan will be submitted to Congress, who will then spend an enormous amount of time vetting it, changing it, and sending it through so many committees that it will likely not be finalized until long after she takes office.

a million. i do no longer know any libs that disagree with this assertion. What different sources do you think of there are as properly capitalism? I comprehend you think of libs are by using definition idiots, yet i do no longer know of any that think of socialism will produce tax sales. We purely fluctuate on how those taxes ought to be spent. 2. And cons spend what on their classes? Does the investment for cons initiatives come from their very own wallet? All government initiatives, conservative or liberal, are paid for out of taxes. 3. As prevalent, you do no longer know something approximately libs once you're making this assertion. Libs are against UNREGULATED capitalism. i assume cons are for permitting agencies to do in spite of they choose, regardless of effects to their clientele. The logic right this is that: You hate liberals no longer because of the fact of something they do or think of. You hate them when you consider which you sense a could desire to be better to a distinctive group of folk and for this reason you will prepare any "info" you opt to them to generate this demonization and justify your hatred. this is the "logic" of propaganda and divisiveness. wish it facilitates your shallowness.

Here is the problem with taxing the employers... (it's happening now in Michigan if you don't believe me) is that when you tax the crap out of business they tend to out source. And Hilldog will so want to increase taxes especially for UHC (which I'm still undecided about).

People complain so much about out sourcing, do something about it... don't vote for a democrat (unless more conservative than Hilldog) Republicans aren't much better, but they don't tax the businesses that keep you all employed.

Raises taxes on business is only going to hurt us little workers b/c we won't have jobs anymore. While the fat cats are going to remain fat cats b/c they will out source their business to save their money. So Hilldog is only going to be hurting the little people she is claiming to be fighting for.

Don't believe it... take a look at the economy in Michigan. Believe it... it's a reality here.

Here is her plan:

SHe is going to roll back the tax cuts on people making more than 250,000. That of course, includes all employers. These employers will cut health care from their benefits (why not? THey are paying the government for that, right?).

Everyone will have to join the government plan. (remember, it'll be the law that you have to have coverage) She will increase the taxes on businesses to pay for it again (hey, they have more money now that they are not paying for health coverage), Businesses will have to slash salaries.

So, in essence, by taxes.

EDIT: YOu'll notice that all the other answers that say "tax from the rich" don't mention that "the rich" also means all businesses and corporations that pay everyones salaries.

Yeah but she won't end the war for like 6 more years.

Didn't she say she wanted to raise the price of cigarettes or something?

Encouraging others to smoke is always promising.

She'll soak the rich.

Of course "rich" will have to be defined down to anyone moderately prosperous.
