I think Mitt Romney's Flip Flops are his biggest trouble.
Also the fact that Mike Huckabee is a Southern Baptist Minister, which appeals to the Republicans in the South.
But neither Romney or Huckabee have a chance at getting elected.

He has not laid blame on any one thing. His political stance on abortion has 'changed' once, fortunately to the right way. Personally, he was always pro-life. He supports the troop surge in Iraq and of getting the job done before pulling out. And he did not seek to grab publicity with this speech. He did all he could to avoid it because he does not feel that he has to be subject to a religious test, but this leads us back to your initial question: he was compelled to speak on his faith because polls clearly show a frightening trend of evangelicals not willing to vote for a Mormon, period. I feel it smells of bigotry, and Mr. Romney had to educate America today, not just evangelicals, on what separation of church and state is, as well as the value of religious tolerance for ALL beliefs. It was a moving, genuine, and memorable speech and I look forward to having my kids watch it.

I even have discovered from well matched brothers and sisters. I even have additionally got here upon some hyperlinks to web pages that have been powerful. that's exciting to make certain what human beings have faith, and locate out what the maximum modern and maximum excellent nontruths are. without the themes of cult individuals, evolutionist, etc., there are a number of themes that i does not have afflicted to analyze. That analyze has been very efficient for me. Given the certainty that God says that His be conscious would not return to Him void, yet that it accomplishes what He sent it out to do, i think optimistic that His be conscious has not long gone out in ineffective.

I think you mean that Romney is blaming is religious beliefs FOR his lack of support.
I don't think he has done that, even though I think it IS the reason why a lot of evengelical Christians cannot support him.

Because the number one reason that people give the polls for being against Romney is that he isn't a Christian.
Kinda sad how many people don't realize that Mormons are christians.
