I am from New delhi and getting married in Feb (arranged marriage). My "would be" just e-mailed me saying that she had a one sided love with someone from her friend's circle and she was in little depression for the four years in her college. She says that she really don't have any kind of feelings for him now. Still now he is her very good friend and they are in touch. She told me this as she is guilty now..

In some ways I am glad that she has been honest with me.but, i also won't like her talking to this guy anymore. Below is my mail I have drafted to send her..please tell me if it looks ok.

"Hi,
It takes a lot of courage to come up and tell what you did. It shows that you have confidence in me and that's makes me happy.

Please don't feel guily about anything, but I hope you understand that your friendship with this person makes me uneasy and i leave it to your better judgement to decide.

I really admire your honesty and today I like you even more !

Yours,"

Did she send the email for april fool joke? it would be too early for that na.

otherwise, its a good reply. But I suggest that you kill the topic here right now, dont ask her anything about it again, because it will raise old feelins in her. You will do more wrong by raising this topic again. So let be gone by gone. and give all your love to her. this feelings are common these days and happens to everyone. great are those ones who overcome these and support each other.

Well, I think she is telling you this because you will find out anyway. And I do believe she still has feelings for him and that is why she is telling you. I guess if the marriage is arranged, you don't have much choice. So, your note was good. However, I would keep an eye on the situation. You don't want her e-mailing or talking with him.
