People have different ideas of success. If you condition for baseball in other ways, that doesn't make you a failure. You just need to tell him to mind his own business, and not let it get to you.

so his definition of a failure is different from yours, you only get angry if you accept his definition. He is not in your shoes, he cannot judge whether you are a failure or not, but being human he tries to anyway. That is his problem, you should not make it yours. Just accept that he is as entitled to his opinion as you are to yours. You don't have to accept his opinion as being correct. Usually, I just laugh at someone that judges me for anything, they are simply displaying their ignorance.

people only have power over based on your reaction to what they say.some people feel big by making you feel small. DON'T LET THEM!Your health is affected by being boiling mad,so work that anger off.The ones who fail are the ones who don't try!Good luck!

It's an insult, so you're mad. Two hundred years ago, you'd be duelling him for saying that. I don't know why this person is so rude, but I can understand that you don't want to be around him.

Making judgement on others is a symptom of immaturity, if others get pent up because of others remarks than it is their lack of confidence and also symptoms of immaturity.
