Dont that just sounds good with some cabbage and hot water corn bread and dont it.. lol.. Well my granny use to make me eat the stuff.. and I wouldnt touch it now .. yuk!

Just because I'm into the big bovines .... and I just happen to swallow a piece of her tongue in a moment of passion ..... don't necessarily mean I'm a certified cow tongue eater!
How comes we all just can't get along ..... blowing up a brothers spot like dat.

I used to waitress at a deli, and the deli guy used to chase us around at closing with a huge stinky cow tongue. It was so horrible.
I know if Granny made it, it was good though. That's how Grannys roll.

My grandpa (God rest his soul) would go to the shootin matches and he would come home with cow tongue, huge slabs of bacon and various other prizes he would win. He absolutely loved the cows tongue and tried to get us kids to try it. I couldn't. Just the thought of it being a tongue....gagged me.
But HEY.... I will eat deep fried Chicken Gizzards any day!

Of course! You can get Mexican tacos that come with cow tongue (it's called 'lengua' in spanish), but we put salsa and cilantro and lemon

Yes, boiled it is very much like Prime Rib very very good

oh god i love it! i think the texture makes it really yummy... its esp good wen eaten in really spice-laden soup... cow's tripe is insanely yummy as well! once again, i suppose it's the texture..
