I think that it is slightly better than SVR 07 because the new controls make it more realistic. The player movements are also better and more fluid. I don't like the storylines in this years version. There are glitches that occur during the season mode and the storylines don't always make sense for the character you are using. I would rather play the game without the storylines.

It's definitely an improvement over 2007. The graphics are a lot better. Plus, once you get used to the new controls, you're set.
If not for Fire Pro Wrestling Returns, I'd be playing SVR08 all day.
