Wow. Let's ignore what the Republicans focused on exclusively when they were in power and then accuse the other side of doing that. I love this country's short attention span. No wonder we have a chimp crapping on the Constitution in the Oval Office.

Well, I think it's sort of a sickness on both sides of the aisle. True Conservatives are not like Bush and most Democrats aren't like Clinton.
I do think that SOME liberals are into big government, like Clinton is. The more people need, the more she wants the government to provide, taking from those who do not need, hence bigger more powerful government.
From each according to his ability, to each according to his need. This is the Clinton philosophy. Whereas Bush is a spendaholic!

Even if it's not all-inclusive, it could still be mostly or completely true.
There are a lot of liberal politicians out there though, so by itself, the statement looks like another sweeping generalization.

Most politicians are addicted to power and wealth, no matter what party they are in. its a flaw of mankind , not of just liberals or conservatives.

Ron Paul is one of the few exceptions to this rule. He seems like one of the few politicians to have the real America at heart.

Between the two, one group deliberated lied to start a war-for-profit. Liberals generally do not support that group.

Anybody in politics, especially national politics is in it for the power. Money is not so relevant, but the quest for power is definitely not limited to one political philosophy...
