Those who doubted whether Iraq or the world would be better off without Saddam Hussein, and those who believe today that we are not safer with his capture, don't have the judgment to be President, or the credibility to be elected President.

No one can doubt or should doubt that we are safer -- and Iraq is better -- because Saddam Hussein is now behind bars."

and do you know who said it?

John Kerry said it on Dec. 16, 2003.

The only thing he has ever been right about in his life.

I starred this one. However, don't be surprised if you get a violation notice for asking it! I'm sure you offended the cut 'n run bunch here!

According to most every source on the subject, we're nearly finished there anyway. Troop reductions are already scheduled. Let's just support the troops and their effort on our behalf and GET 'ER DONE!!!

EDIT: Sorry Mad Em but... been there, done that. It's ok to think you're rights and your freedom are free. Our boys will protect AMERICAN rights and freedom and you'll benefit too, whether you like it or not!

A lot of people have said essentially exactly that. Could be anybody from Bush to Clinton.

By the way, since I get almost all my information on Iraq from the media, I don't think my opinions on Iraq are very credible, informed, balanced, or important. I think others should admit this as well.

It was said by someone that has no understanding of the Constitution. Iraq in no way threatened our freedom and there was no declaration of war. Christ, we are the country that stood up to the Soviet Union and now we're are terrified of third world countries. Something has gone wrong with our country. Ronald Reagan referred to the U.S. as the shining city on the hill. He never referred to it as the fortress on the high ground. We must influence the world with morals, not might.

"I like to believe that people in the long run are going to do more to promote peace than our governments. Indeed, I think that people want peace so much that one of these days governments had better get out of the way and let them have it."- Dwight D. Eisenhower

Someone should ask all of the refugees from Iraq, the people who do not have the means to flee Iraq and all of the dead civilians there if they are better off instead of asking the talking heads in Washington..... I believe they may be a better source of information.

Better yet, I will ask you in a few years, after they reinstate the draft to fight this oil war and you are *** deep in Iraq sand. Maybe then you will tell me what they think.

By the way, Do you recall something recently being said by someone, (Maybe you can tell me who) that Iran was just about ready to start WW3 because of their continued advancement of a covert nuclear weapons program...and how we need to ramp up our military for possible invasion?

Some ignorant said that. Iraqis were not getting murdered by the thousands every month and the world is a more dangerous place since we invaded. Nations are more pi$$ed off at us than ever.

If you feel safer, you are an idiot.

If you think Iraq is better now then you are a f**king idiot.

Hundreds of thousands of iraqi civilians have died, millions have been displaced, at a cost of thousands of our own soldiers lives, not to mention nearly 1 trillion dollars... meanwhile al queda is back to its prewar strength, bin laden is still on the loose, afghanistan is a clusterf**k, and despite a 'drop in violence' reported in iraq - it continues to be a hellhole and a quagmire.

Please go f**k yourself - ASAP.

Saddam is dead now, but we are still occupying Iraq. Saddam was a bad guy, it is good that he is gone, but he cannot be the excuse for why we are still there. He's dead, why are we there now?
