Guys, thanks for the tips. Let me give some more background. yes the bike I am referring to is the Royal Enfield Bullet. Also I am new to bikes, I drive a car most of the time and am picking up a second hand bike to set off for some interesting road trips. Before that I need to learn the basics & get the bike ship shape, hence the question.

I not live there. I was curious; This a Royal Enfield?
I tell you, in my opinion, I would learn to fix my own bike. Many dealers can get you a shop manual, not sure of your cost, but, in the USA they gave me one when I bought my Harley. Same Manual the mechanics use.

Jeeze Guy!

The Enfield bullet is as complicated as a lawnmower, so any bike mechanic should be able to handle anything that comes up.

I like the bullet, and If you were in SC, I could help you more.

The Enfield bullet is designed to be user maintained. I would suggest handling the little things yourself.
