What is your opinion on gun control?

Sould we make guns illegal like most other countries?

Should we have a better gun control?

If your pro-gun...explain why you feel that way. Other than its in the constitution.

After all the school shotting, and the resent mall shotting do you think we should still have the right to own guns?

Thanks 4 your opinion

That's a good point, (hunting)

But my point is....should we make guns illegal, so the rest of america will be safer

Only a handfull own guns legaly and is that more important then the rest of america?

your premise is wrong:

Outlawing guns won't make the US safer as the criminals won't obey the law.

"Only a few own guns legally ? Also not true: better check your sources.

I am pro-gun. I have done research on the effects of gun control regulations, and I came to a startling conclusion, the places in our country that had the strictest gun controls also happened to be the places that had the highest crime rates. Makes me wonder about the effectiveness of those gun laws.

I am also a teacher and I do consider what would happen if a student were to come to school with a gun or guns and choose to use those guns against their classmates and teachers. But I also look at the fact that I have been teaching for 9 years, at least 180 school days a year, and nothing has happened for those 1620 days. When students show up and go to school and a normal day happens, that doesn't make the news. Its only when someone makes a horrible choice to use guns against others that it makes headlines.

Have a fantastic day. :)

Every U.S. citizen who has not been convicted of a felony has the right to own a firearm. All should exercise that right.

If more were known to have firearms in their possession, there would be less violent crime. Statistics from the 'gun-owner' states prove this.

As for the shootings, those people as well as career criminals, did and do not care about 'rights' and would have found some weapon anyway. The criminals don't care about laws...THAT'S WHY THEY ARE CRIMINALS!!!

If the law abiding citizen gives up his right to own firearms, then only the scofflaws will have them.

I would like to point out that the 'shooting sprees' of the last several years were carried out IN GUN-FREE ZONES.

gun restrictions do not work.

Gun control is ineffective. I am totally against gun control.

I am pro-gun because I am a hunter. And you need a gun to go hunting (unless you are good with a bow --- which I am not).

I think gun control means using both hands.

gun control doesnt work.

No we shouldnt.

Yes we should.

You know what else was found at that mall... a live grenade.

Now how would those gun control laws have helped people if he had tossed the grenade instead of shot the gun??

Our stringent drug laws have definitely made sure there are no drugs on the street. Oh, wait...

Bottom line is that criminals are going to get their guns, no matter how illegal they are. Having armed criminals and unarmed law abiding citizens is not the way to go.

I think everyone should pass a background check before being able to purchase one, but as American citizens, I believe it is our right to own them.
