Okay i will admit i don't live there. So my answer will be biased towards the stereotypes i see and hear about through the news and other media. It seems to be a country with some good people and some bad people. Some of their governments views are a bit extreme like anti gun control and extreme religous views. However I think in essance they are a good country founded on great beliefs (freedom of speech). They may not be headed the way i think they should be (the war on iraq and all that) but i think that they will get through it.

The United States is the birthplace of modern democracy and freedom. It is a industrial, military and moral superpower. Matter of fact the one and only superpower. Ronald Regan made that great nation greater and the two Bush administrations lived up to the late Ronald Reagan's ideology.

Great history, and lead the way in a lot of political values.
Could definately use some reforms today.

All in all, I am proud of my heritage as an American.

It's sad. USA was a wonderful country that I loved to hike and visit. Thanks to the Republican party it's quickly in decline. The country picked a evil moron as a president. Most of the world is itching for the war crimes to begin on it's leadership. So sad.

I love the United States.

I just can't stand the current gang of incompetent morons running the place.

And looking at the gang of retards running for 2008 - I'm pretty sure that's the way it's going to keep on.

For all its flaws (and who among us is perfect??) it is a great example of a robust democracy, which is far preferable to being under the boot of Islamic or Communist fascism.
