The ad portrays the Iran-Contra hostage crisis that happened years ago under the Carter administration and which has been falsely credited to Reagan for freeing the hostages. He goes on and on about the threat of an attack from Iran and he will keep America safe.

I love how liberals say this latest report is unequivocal fact, meanwhile they constantly point to the past reports lack of accuracy.

I continuously concept that being sane grow to be resembling being pregnant. You the two are or you're no longer. i'm not sure how the "completely" suits in right here. i might like to tell you that i think of it shows he's insane, yet that does no longer be the certainty. The Bush administration has, considering the fact that 911, operated effectively on the muse of inspiring concern. This premise contributed to the knee-jerk reaction of the congress in helping and passing the "patriot act" and it has worked exceedingly plenty for them/him considering the fact that then. Now he's caught in an embarassing venture. right this moment he defined that he have been instructed extremely some months in the past that there grow to be some new intel, yet that it had to be regarded at for accuracy, and that he grow to be merely given this recommendation various days in the past. ok, so as meaning while the President is instructed that there is a few new (meaning 'diverse') intel, he would not ask for a minimum of a cursory evaluate? Who in the worldwide will believe that! So now, as a flesh presser is obligated to do, he tries to spin this around to make it sound like...yeah, that's what i've got been sayin all alongside." it is pathetic and it is embarrassing to absolutely everyone with 0.5 a recommendations. even if, i think of the american public's wonderful gullibility makes human beings like George Bush believe they are able to assert something and the human beings will believe it. So maybe the greater effectual question is this: Are individuals generally no longer completely sane?

Hostage crisis was answered by Reagan with funding of guns to Contras in Nicaragua and Mujaheddin in Afghan. Didn't happen under Carter ('students' taking US Embassy Hostages did).
Rudy will crush all comers! You don't want to get Rudy mad...I cannot see how when his 'true' nature comes out (as with recent debate), that U.S. will seriously vote for this guy. He is a loose cannon, prosecutorial blowhard. The cops cleaned up NYC, without a raise for 5 years!

You premise is that This NIE is True. Iran Has the Ingredients for a bomb. You Did not mention A.Q. Khan was involved with Irans Program. He developed Pakistans Bomb. Iran won't let the world inspect facilities and you trust Iran. Bill Clinton Trusted North Korea, India and Pakistan. So even you liberals got it wrong.

That NIE made a lot of people look stupid and exposed a lot of them as the warpigs that they are.

They are all in full spin mode now.

Obviously Iran continues to be a threat - but overhyping a threat purposefully in order to make a case for war and continuing to spread fear is going to put yet another nail in the GOP's coffin.

The NIE report in 2005 says Iran is building nukes. Then the NIE in 2007 says they aren't. I'm pretty sure in 2009, it might say they are building nukes again.

And, read history. Reagan DID put plans in motion to free the hostages in Iran. Carter sat there and took advice from his daughter. Carters only attempt, Operation Eagle Claw, was a total failure.

Why do you believe this report, but not the report that said Iraq had WMD's. Look at who wrote this report, study it. Don't let the media dictate your life.

Fear works wonders within the GOP. They are addicted to fear. It is as though GOP voters seek the candidate that can scare them the most.

example:

"Did you see Giuliani in the debate?" "Yea! Scary huh?" "Yea. He was scary. He's got my vote"
