I'm willing to bet it took you longer to type that than it would have to answer them yourself.

Decrease = 8000-5000 = 3000
% decrease = 3000/8000 = .375 = 37.5 %

9000*.12 + 5000x = 2200
1080 +5000x = 2200
5000x = 1120
x = 1120/5000 = .224 = 22.4%

30 = 2L +2*6
30 = 2L +12
18 = 2L
9 = L

c. 37.5% <== 100% x (8000-5000) / 8000

d. 22.4%
[14000 - 9000] x Rate + 9000 x 0.12 = 2200
5000 x Rate + 1080 = 2200
Rate = 1120/5000 = .224 ==> 22.4 %

b. 9
L = (P -2W)/2 = (30-12)/2 = 9

for the first one it will be B because you times 5000 to 100 and then divide by 8000 which will end up to be 62.5%

the last one will be B
30 = 2L + 2(6)
30 -12= 2L + 12 -12
18 = 2L
L = 9

If she is paid only on sales OVER $3,000 the she would desire to no longer gets a commission in any respect till she reaches that sales determine. So, subtract the @3,000 from the finished saes of $sixteen,000 and you get $13,000 of sales on which she replaced into compensated. If she made $420 on $13,000 of sales, it is jsut basic math. 420/13000 = 3.2%, rounded to the closest a million/10%. straight forward, eh? Martin's well being care has no longer something to do with this project as stated, so ignore it. same undemanding concepts prepare. $3250-$1150 = commissions = $2100. If he bought $35000 worth of things then the equation is 2100/35000 = 6%, precisely like the 1st project. Get it now?
