Yes I saw the movie, animation, cartoon or what ever the 'in' thing is - and that is just it - it is an 'in' movie, just for kids
If you have an imagination, are willing to suspend disbelief, then this is a movie of pure fantasy -
It is released at holiday time, there to entertain the children and to cause problems because...
The children then want a Rat
Then they want the Rat to cook
Then they want Ratatouille
And they will want all of it for a long time, at least till the next movie comes out
So my advice is to be advised - Rats can be good pets BUT they are dirty, the under hanging pouch at the back, that makes them look like they have a big bottom, drags along the ground leaving a trail of wee, to mark their territory, you can not have infants and Rats, too many chances of disease
Children over 5, yes, it teaches them responsibility and that pets bite, oh yes, get tetanus injections for everyone
Or buy a Rat cuddly toy, it is safer

Enjoyed it very much. Even if the movie was animated the food looked really good haha. I heard there's an actual dish ratatouille. I would like to try that now. But yes a great film since Finding Nemo.

I loved it too! Really cute story & I loved the way they depicted the rats-- we have 5 pet rats & they're actually very sweet & smart. Also, I loved that the "star" entree is a vegetarian dish-- I'm veg & happen to love ratatouille.

I thought it was surprisingly good, one of the best movies this year. However, I didn't really think it was as kid-friendly as some of the other Disney/Pixar films. It seemed more mature in its subject matter and plot. Still, we enjoyed it, and we're far from child-aged, lol.

i dont want to see it. it sounds so gay. i mean how does a rat control the guys movements by pulling his hair? and the whole premise is just so stupid. think about it. a rat who loves to cook so he helps out a young chef and together they make the best food in paris. how the hell does someone come up with that? how would you sell that idea to the studio? if i was a producer i would have laughed that guy out of my office. i think they are really reaching with these kids movies now days

no. I think there are too many of these films popping up now. Ok they're entertainment for kids, but what about the poor parents who have to pay for it at the cinema, are bugged to buy it on DVD then have to watch it over and over again!! no way!! Not for my kids!
