I can't help it. Even if it's not good or even a little rude. The only way I don't is if the person is way over the line rude.

I appreciate it when people give their 2 cents worth and what does it hurt to go give thumb ups?
Of course I sometimes give everyone on somebody elses questions for different reasons. I also try to find all my contacts and thumb up all their answers no matter what...

No. If I think an answer is good, I'll up-thumb it. If it's bad, down thumb it. You can't worry about politeness. It's not being truthfull. You really aren't helping anyone if your feeding them false information. "O, what about their feelings?" If they are that thin-skinned, what the heck are they doing in here?
