The only two rides I have seen at every amusement park I have been to is the Merry Go Round of Carousel however you prefer to say and the bumper cars. I wouldn't say that roller coasters count here.

There's always a form of transportation that isn't considered a ride technically, but technically is:
the Monorail
The Trolley
Trams
Skyway/Skilift

All Parks offer these services becuase not all people are happy to walk around.

Not everypark has a Rollercoaster even though it is profitable, not every park has a carousel, not every park has bumper cars, but even State Fairs offer Tractor rides from the parking lot.

That's why I vote Public Transport the most guranteed ride.

It is is called Grizzly Bear Rapids at Disneyland, Big Foot Rapids at Knott's Berry farm and Roaring Rapids at six flags. It is a ride that you sit in this circular boat kind of thingy with about five other people and you go through a rough river where you will almost always get soaked at disneyland, might get soaked at knotts and probably will get soaked at Six Flags.
