If you buy it at the Home Depot and do it yourself, they have kits that include 3-1/2 feet of wainscoting for $16. You also have to buy the rails (top and bottom) for about $10 for 6 feet. Then there's nails for the rails and glue for the panels. So, you're looking at less than $10 per linear foot altogether.

it has different prices by its matherial, size, color, etc.
but as i know the avarege price for wainscoting is between 150-200 USD
