My resolution will be to not fall back into bad habits. I'm finishing 2009 on a high note and I have to keep it going. But in general my resolutions have been unrealistic so I've given up on them. What about you Mandy?

I have a couple of which I don't know which one I will pick. This is actually kind of funny since I don't usually make New Year's Resolutions since no one ever actually does it for longer than a month or two.
Mine are to look for another job and quit smoking. Knowing me, I'll start looking for another job.

Yes and no, I don't believe resolutions work, but I need to loose almost 30lbs. I got really depressed and stressed out the past year and let my body and eating habits go to hell. I am trying to change my habits now, but it is so hard with the holidays. Plus I am getting married next year. Oh and I want to have my credit card payed off by december next year!

I have started to think about them. I always have more then one. But I normally don't nail them down till the 31st. Not that I'm procrastinating, I just write them down and seal it and then the following Dec. 31st I read the "letter" and see how my plans went, see if I stayed on track. And how far I drifted away. Sometimes it's a smack in the face.

I personally donot believe in making New Year resolutions for the following reasons: Most resolutions made, fail ,and when they do, people are stressed and peg themselves as failures. Most resolutuions for the New Year consist of goals set far to high for most to achieve. I personally think resolutions to alter your life for the better are best made when you have the tools to apply. When you are truly commited to the goal, your chances to succeed are far greater.

I've done better than just think about them..I've already started them!! My first and biggest one is to answer the phone whenever it rings, no matter who it is! I have a horrible habit of letting the answering machine pick it up and never listening to the messages!
