I think it's flat out wrong and it disgusts me that anyone would think that they know what's right for everyone else just because they know what's right for themselves.

Oh no, does that make me self-righteous?

Well I think I know some truths that apply to everyone else whether they know it or not - for example, no one can drive around Dead Man's Curve in my town above 40 mph without going off the road and cracking up. True, true for everyone, and true no matter who disagrees. There are other things like that too.

So I think you can't say blanketly that all such declarations are improper. Some are, some aren't.

Well, yes, because I don't want anyone telling me what best for me. They also kind of act like they are better than I am. But I know they are not. I don't mind other peoples input or opinions, but sometimes people don't stop to think that everyone is different and people see things in different ways. If someone says "hey, this worked for me, you might try it." There are always options.

They annoy me!
I believe in what I believe in, but never try and force my opinions on anyone!

It's the same as Vegetarians/Vegans who you can go any where with, because they are calling Animal abuse!! I don't eat meat myself, but refuse to call myself vegetarian!! I have no worries about cooking my son's or my man a great big juice steak, I just don't eat it.
We are all different, some people just wish people would abide by their life rules!!

No it does not make you selfrighteous nor opinionated, just independent. Self righteous and opinionated people are selfish and insensitve to say the least. Humble pie doesn't fall into their vocab and are probably the worst type of people to involve in your personal life

I am pro-life. I do not attend anti-abortion stand-ins, I do not attend any sort of public outing. I am not afraid of being attacked for what I believe in. I also do not believe that just because I am pro-life means that everyone else should be pro-life. Pro-life is just what I believe, not what everyone else should believe just because I do. Many people are not shoving it down your throat, they just want their opinions heard, just like a lot of other people.
