When you start a relationship do you always want to last for ever ???

Or do you make relationships and you have decided before that will end soon ??? Do you search for a company for a night or for a life ?

eh, i don't hope much when i first start dating something. There is no reason i should expect someone, when i first start dating them, to live up to my expectations of my perfect mate. I don't do the one night either, i just see where things go, and hope that whatever happens is the best for both of us

I have never been asked this question before nor have I pondered such things on my own.

Personally, I have been very anti-social outside of my immediate family. Yet within my family, I cherish the life-long bonds that we do have.

The only new relationships that I pursue nowadays are here on Yahoo Answers and on DeviantArt.com; I hope that these relationships will last a long time. However, I know that we have a very mobile society and things change. Perhaps I will fall out of contact with someone, but that doesn't mean that our relationship is over; for you never know when you'll meet up again.

I do everything long term. I don't buy a car that will break down on me any time soon, I don't buy the little bags of chips, I don't rent a movie I know I will want to buy and I don't start seeing someone unless I know this is a person I could be with for a very long time.

I always look for one that will last forever. Haven't been too lucky yet. But I'm hoping it happens soon.
