Yes, it does. I want more than I can afford. My computer doesn't wear out fast enough for me to upgrade to the latest and greatest. Soon as I buy a new one, the next one comes out. It's not very Earth-friendly to upgrade that often and trash a relatively new one that often. I/we can't afford to do it!

Software-wise, my mind certainly can't keep up with. or have room for the ideas of, the millions of vastly intelligent minds in the world each of whom singly and in groups are coming up with genius ideas and technologies each moment and hour and day. That would be totally hopeless and unrealistic.

I would have to say not really, I say that because right now the cost of the technologies that i need are in my range, its the technology that I want that is out of range...

for a person with no money though I guess the would be a bit behind..

Yes as the price of top notch items cost more than a deposit for a house/car, also the cost of living has risen quicker than the wages for workers, if I want an item I save but by the time I get it, it is old and a new item is out and so it all starts again. ctc

No, it does not. I don't keep up because I don't see anything wrong with the old system, whatever that might be.
