Star Trek. It has a more of a realism to it the Star Wars. I find Star Wars to be quite boring and repetitive. At least Star Trek has a setting that is feasibly possible while Star Wars does not. Stuff like warp speed, phasers, etc. are all possible. Though, Star Wars has similar things, but Star Trek came first so I mentioned them. Stuff like the Force, impossible.
So yeah, Star Trek because its just better.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, Star Trek the original series was the best. Then Star Trek the Next Generation. Then Star Trek Voyager, which I thought was actually interesting. Then the others, Deep Space nine and Enterprise were horrible.
Just like Star Wars, I would rather watch the old ones because everything was better in them, though, I would rather watch Voyager then the old Star Wars. Now for the newer Star Wars, I would rather watch a movie from the 1920's that had no sound and no story. At least the acting made the movie, the acting in the new Star Wars, minus Samuel L. Jackson, sucked so bad my IQ actually dropped to a point that made me legally retarded. If that gives any idea how much I hate it.
I will also state that Star Trek is for the Mature audiences, ones that like thinking. While Star Wars is for the less thought provoked people, such as kids and young adults. Basically the people that rather watch something and be told everything thats happening leaving no room for thinking. That is another large reason why Star Trek is better. Though I will admit Shatner over acted half the time, but it gave it a more entertaining aspect to it while still keeping it intelligent.

Star Trek.....but only the really old tv series, the movies, and The Next Generation....anything after that looses my interest.
I always had a tough time choosing between the two until the last 3 Star Wars movies came out.....they kinda ruined the Star Wars thing for me.
OMG...Free thinking.....I just saw the episode of Futurama with that exact sentence in it yesterday!!
