ooooh wee...you took it back with that one..I havent had one of those since I left home...lol...and I loved the edges to be crispy.

Believe it or not, I either boil or microwave my bologna.
I don't consume any that often but the last time I did fry
bologna was maybe about a decade ago. Peace.
P.S. I used to love the black edges..gave it some real flavor.
Now I can only brown or darken the edges in the microwave.

I don't like the edges to be black but I like the bologna to be thick sliced. I love fried bologna sandwiches. It's prolly been about a month since I had one.

Yeah, I remember - I made some for my kids about a year ago. Burnt edges on cheap white bread is the way I ate it as a kid...
This always reminds me of SPAM. Burnt edges, too, just like the bologna.
Finally, do you (I do) spell bologna by singing the song in your head?

Actually I just made one about 2 hours ago, all I had in the fridge was bologna and some bread so since I don't like it cold that's what I ate.

Funny you should ask this question. I am making myself one right now. Yes, I like the edges black. I like Hot Dogs a little burnt also. I'm eating my sandwich now.

That was one of moms favorites! (although she had the fried bologna with fried onions too!)
I haven'thad one in awhile, but I had a fried Hot Dog the other day (my favorite way to eat hot dogs, BTW) so that's close enough to bologna.
