6x^2 + 15x = 9
6x^2 + 15x - 9 =0
2x^2 + 5x - 3 = 0
(2x - 1)(x + 3) = 0
x = 1/2 or x = -3

6x² +15x = 9
6x² +15x - 9 = 0

Divide thru by 3

2x² +5x - 3 = 0

(x + 3)(2x - 1) = 0

x = -3, x = 1/2
.

first simplify the question
it can b divided by 3
so u get 2x^2 +5x=3

2x^2+5x-3=0

2x^2+6x -1x-3=0

2x(x+3) -1(x+3)=0

(x+3)(2x-1)=o

either x+3 has to be equal to 0 (in which case x=-3)

or 2x-1 has to be equal to 0(in which case x=1/2)
