In my fantasy football league I got offered Randy Moss and Edge James for Bernard Berrian, Santonio Holmes, Kevin Jones and Jeff Garcia. Should I take this trade?

Actually this trade was made in a league I am in. The guy getting Moss and Edge is in the playoffs, does it seem like collusion?

A follow up - As commissioner would I be justify in reversing this trade even though it made it thru the league review? A couple of owners didnt see it until after it went thru so no telling if they would have objected before.

Big plus in the WR, same with RB. Do it only if you can afford to lose the two extra players.

Edit: Uhhh. Yes it does. Find another league to play in next year. It IS just a game, but no one likes to lose to a cheater.

Does it SOUND like collusion? If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, swims like a duck and flies like a duck, it's a duck!
I would definitely at least rant about the trade on the bulletin board. Also, should you choose to stay in this league next year, do so only on the condition that the two parties involved with this trade are barred from the league.

Thus the argument for league rules establishing trade deadlines. If I were on the Moss side of things, I would have done that deal. Holmes has a bad ankle, Jones is a wash, Garcia has a bad back, and Berrian is hampered because he has a QB that can (maybe) sometimes week to week get the ball in his zip code.

Other side = Pro Bowlers Moss and James.

To me, it sounds like some 'home cookin' between team "owners".

This is a lop sided trade and should not be allowed. Trade deadlines are important and should be around the middle of the season to stop teams from collusion and stacking for the playoffs.

Moss and James have great playoff matchups.

Heck yes.. You are in the later stages of the season. I would imagine those players you are giving are bench with the exception of Berrian or Holmes. You now get Moss in there for him. K Jones has been inconsistant and Garcia just got hurt and is likely rotting on your bench anyways.

DO IT!!!!!

If I were the commissioner of that league, I might veto that trade. Looks like he's dumping all of his bench players to pick up a couple of studs for the playoff drive.

Depending on who else he has on his team, he might be trying to stack his lineup for the playoffs. Check with your commish.
