I found it to be very very very inspiring! As my buddy Rush said today! I love him and think he is an all around great guy. I love his family values, his religious beliefs and the fact that he is a Republican. We all need God and good for him for putting it out there! This is our next president! Plus he is easy on the eyes!
Romney's got my vote and I have been saying that since day one!
Go Team Romney!
Boo Team Hillary!

I think it was a bad move. If religion is not a matter of office, then he should have reinforced that by just saying that his religion does not affect the job; which he does in this speech, but by giving the speech rather than a quick soundbite it makes more of an issue than it should be by making it an issue.
I think those Protestants who did not know he was Mormon, nor knew much about Mormonism, will now focus on it and it may backfire.
I'm not a Romney supporter by any means, but I do think it is an unnecessary thing to have to defend.
Happy Holidays!

First let me say thank you for sharing the link. I did not hear his speech and had not made the time to look for it on the internet.
I think Mitt Romney is a good man and an honorable candidate. I wish him the best with his campaign.

I enjoyed it. I think it got the point across to anyone with common sense. It's a shame that he had to give a speech like this, but that fault is on the voters, not on him. The far left on this board are all livid it seems, but as a Republican voting non religious person (GASP!!!), I think he drove the point that religion has nothing to do with how he will do his job home well. Here's to Mitt winning the primary!

Just what we need.....another right-wing nut job in the White House. He'll hide his Mormonism (I'm an ex-Mormon so I know what they're really all about) until he gets in his desired position of power, which he won't because no one would trust him to be president. Thank you but NO.

I would never vote for someone that has such disdain for the first amendment.
