I live in London in England (Europe, LOL) so it will not affect me in anyway except that it upsets me and puzzles me at the same time. Are the States in the USA all competing against each other to see who stages the worst carnage with guns ?? Since about 1997 there have been countless of shootings mainly in schools or from the boots of cars (trunks of cars). So I guess, and SADLY, Nebraska is ahead... not in a school but in a shopping mall. No disrespect intended but may be that guy had a grievance with one of the shops... they refused some item exchange. Sad !!!

I live in the Old Market area of Omaha and no-it wont affect my shopping. I am a firm believer that if it is my time, it will happen no matter what i am doing or where i am at. The tragedy that happened yesterday is not going to hold me back from doing what i need to do or want to do. That kid is not going to take over my life with his actions and I do not want to give him the benefit of me being affected by this, because that is what he wanted. If we give him that gratification, we are allowing him to be "famous" and "go out with a bang" like he stated in his suicide note.

No, because I truly believe when it's our time to go it's our time. No matter if it's of a violent nature or of natural causes.
And an FYI - the media can sensationalize any story - what you read/hear/see is not always the truth.
So don't believe everything you hear..................I agree with Pamela, don't let what others do rule the way you live your life. Live it to the fullest! Ã

A reminder to me that the devil is working overtime to 'steal, kill and destroy' who he can...
I dont do..."Memorials of mammon" like the mall anyway but even more so during heavy traffic times like this. When a terrorist (foreign or domestic) wants to do some damage they are going for heavily populated areas. (thats why you couldnt pay me to live in NY).

Funny how I always thought terrorists would attack the malls. Turns out it is our own home grown young persons. I think we need to concentrate on who should be a parent.

nope. But depressed people do tend to make me not want to be near them. Not sure why so many people are becoming depressed and even more on anti-depressants. its one of those things that when it happens it happens. If Im correct, more people die getting trampled over on black Friday each year than incidents such as the one yesterday.

I just purchased a bulletproof backpack for my kids. I wear a vest now where ever I go...I carry pepper spray and wear a Dog the Bounty Hunter wig. I feel pretty safe as long as I don't use the "N" word.
