Past few days I've been really bored. I'm a really energetic person and I get bored VERY easily. I don't have a hobby because I quit because it was all too much presure and I wasn't enjoying it one bit. I'm starting horse riding but that's not til after X-Mas. At the moment I have no hobby and nothing to do. I'm not allowed out on my own, all my friends are on holiday/have family around and I have a flat tyre on my bike. I've drawn and wrote stories, watched tv played games but I'm just too energetic. Should I try and persuade my mum (with your tips) if I can start horse riding early or should I just sit in boredom?
It sucks being an energetic adrenaline junkie sometimes =]

'I don't think it's an energy problem, you don't seem to stay focused very long on one thing.'
I stay focused on things for ages but not for days. The ice skating things was cause of depression.
'You don't say how old you are,'

'but I'd suggest less sugar and more foods that are healthy to calm you down.'
I rarely eat sugary foods. I eat 5 or over fruit and veg a day and a packet of crisps is the most (in terms of sweets) I would have. I have a healthy lunch (chicken wrap with tomatoes and lettuce) and a healthy dinner.
'Learn to be peaceful sitting just by yourself. If you can do that for say, 15 minutes, that's a good start.'
I can do that easily..
'Read a good book.'
I don't have any books because I have read them all/money to buy books.
Fix the flat on your bike (which is spelled TIRE not tyre).
I don't have the right stuff to do so but if I did I would be fixing it right away.

-I'm not sitting here in self pity.
-Volunteering isn't easy at my age, most people say no.
-My family does have enough money for the lessons.

Why not help your family get ready for the holidays. Maybe you could bake cookies or make candy. Figure out some holiday decorations you would like to make. Offer to wrap Christmas gifts and do the most beautiful, creative wrapping you can come up with. Search the internet for ideas.
Take up writing a journal and put down on paper what you are feeling now and how you over came the negative feeling. Later you can look back at what you achieved.
Learn a foreign language and look for free language sites on the internet.
There are millions of things to do if you think about it.
Maybe your mum can't afford for you to take up horse back riding until after the holidays. Be patient and and try to find ways to be busy and helpful.

Read a good book. Fix the flat on your bike (which is spelled TIRE not tyre). Help your mother around the house and yard. Clean your room. Look to help a neighbor. Do something nice for someone else, you seem to focused on just you.

Ask your mom if you could get involved with volunteering your time in a local youth organization. Or perhaps if you like working with the elderly ask if you could go to local retirment homes in your community.
If you play an instrument like the guitar and or the piano you could go places and entertain and make some other older folks pretty happy. Cause sometimes the elderly folks get over looked and forgotten. Something like this makes a good impression. also ask if you could volunteer for the boy scouts. Depending on what your age is.
Nevertheless, remember by volunteering you not only giving something to your community you also receive a lot of rewards and blessings that will come your way. Happy Holidays and do not get too bored!

wow, it seems like you're in quite a prickly predicament...
if I were you, I'd try to convince your parents to give you the riding lessons early. Is there a Gold's gym where you live? You can get a membership at any age, and your parents don't have to go with you! Don't take offense, but I think you may have ADHD. Try talking to a physician or someone among those sorts. It doesn't mean you're stupid, or you can't concentrate, ADHD means you're excessivley hyper (which sounds like you are) getting bored easily (due to hyperness) and basically everything you described... maybe medicine can help?
good luck//xx

4. Put a puzzle together
5. Call an elderly relative and chat with them

Read a book (mental fatigue can be just as, if not more tiring than physical fatigue)
Edit: you have the internet don't you? Then you have unlimited books at your disposal. We aren't going to help you "get your way" with your mom.
