The latest turn of events seems to be one of his sons taking a midnight (ok im exaggerating for the purpose of drama but he did leave in the middle of the night to catch it) flight to Panama. Taking everything in his room and not even informing his flatmates where he was going. He even left a notebook behind with coded instructions for his girlfriend ......

This thing has more twists and turns than EastEnders when the Mitchell brothers are on the loose! LOL.

And its all just going to end with both the Darwins going to jail for Fraud to the tune of half a million pounds ......... at least we can see the clear ending in this case unlike the mccanns.

No, it's been done before. Labour Housing Minister John Stonehouse springs to mind.

fabulous story, almost as good as the mccanns but better in some ways because there's no tragedy.

I think that the sons must have been in on it because they both left their jobs very quickly and i think that the mum is saying things to make it look like they had nothing to do with it so that they are protected.

what a pair of idiots, i reckon the dad fell out with the mum and handed himself in, in order to spite her, he just didnt care whether he would go to prison either.

It is a not unfamiliar fraud. Why it looms so large when we have economic problems, 2 wars and problems with health services and transport beats me. If people gave some thought to things that matter maybe some things would improve.

As far as the full force of the law goes, money has always been a dam sight more important than anything else, it really does talk, whichever way you look at it .

I find this quite funny, how thick must he be to walk into a police station ? He's one of a kind, a real British character !
