You could try coming up with a name like the Beatles did--take a word that has multiple meanings. Their inspiration for a name came from the Crickets, the back-up band to Buddy Holly.
Another idea is taking a line or phrase from a favorite poem.

One old band naming trick was to use two contrasting images. This is how Iron Butterfly and Led Zepplin came up. How about Granite Feathers? Something along those lines should work.
